How to reach us

One inbox, read by a person, on weekdays. Putting the right word at the front of the subject line is the whole trick — it decides how fast your mail gets to the right desk.

  • Corrections and factual queries

    Two business days

Send the URL, the sentence you are disputing, and a source if you have one. First-hand knowledge counts as a source — if you live somewhere we wrote about and we got it wrong, you are the expert in that exchange. We reply to every correction request and tell you what we changed, including when the answer is that we are leaving it as it stands.

  • Press, interviews and speaking

    Three business days

Include your outlet, the angle, and your deadline in the first line — deadlines get triaged first. We can talk about romance-fraud patterns, long-distance relationship data, and how this category of content is usually written.

  • Advertising and partnerships

    Two business days

Formats, sizes, our advertiser policy and everything we need from you are on the advertising page. Read it first; it will save a round trip.

  • Privacy and data requests

Within 30 days, usually the same week

Unsubscribing, deleting your address from the newsletter list, or asking what we hold. Please send it from the subscribed address where you can — it is the only way we can tell it is yours.

    hello@twotimezones.com · subject: Data request

  • Everything else

    Five business days

Story suggestions, a question we have not answered, a country you want covered, or a note about something that helped. Reader mail decides a good share of what gets commissioned.

What to expect

There is no contact form on this page, on purpose: a form that quietly drops your message into nothing is worse than no form at all. Email goes to a real inbox that a person opens.

Corrections are answered first, then press deadlines, then everything else. If a week goes by with no reply, send it again — mail from strangers does get filtered, and a second attempt is not rude.

A postal address for legal notices is available on request. Advertising enquiries should start at the advertising page; corrections policy and right of reply are set out in the editorial policy.

What we cannot help with

We would rather say this here than leave you waiting on an answer that is not coming.

  • Legal or immigration advice. We cannot review your visa case, read your paperwork, or tell you which form to file. Use an official government source and a licensed adviser.
  • Verifying a person.“Is this person real?” is the most common mail we get, and the one we cannot answer. We have no way to check, and a guess from us could cost you either your money or a real relationship. The safety guides walk through the checks you can run yourself, and they are more reliable than our opinion.
  • Recovering money or contacting a platform for you. Report to your bank or payment provider first, then the platform, then your national fraud body — IC3 in the United States, Action Fraud in the UK, the local police unit elsewhere. Speed matters far more than anything we could add.
  • Emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services. Our inbox is answered in days.
  • Guest posts and link building.Unsolicited article offers, “I noticed a broken link on your site” outreach and paid link insertions are declined automatically and are not worth your time.
